Tinman Debut Single (June 2nd)

Formed in early 2023 TINMAN is the moniker of songwriter and front man Austin Pritchard, combining musicians from some of the south coast's most exciting outfits (Hutch, Fliptophead, Welly and Skydaddy). The seven piece (consisting of brass, synthesisers, guitars and frog-like percussive elements) explore the full extent of the soundscape available to them. Strolling through the orbital planes of psychedelic folk, TINMAN brings delicate twangy guitars soaked in chorus and four part vocal harmonies that provide an authentic and timeless feel to lyrics that navigate their personal experience of modern day life.

Drenched in elements of Austin's musical influences (including the likes of Foxwarren, Alice Phoebe Lou and Babe Rainbow), Lady By The Lake was recorded by producer Bobby Smyth at Brighton Electric, and will be released by Crafting Room Recordings on Friday the 2nd of June (a Brighton based not for profit DIY label) with a companion cassette featuring live recordings and demos. A second single is in the pipeline for an end of summer release.
